Grilled Shrimp Skewers

This one brings me back to beach bonfires and skewers sizzling over the fire, with shrimp kissed by spice and smoke. It’s fast, fiery, and full of personality—perfect when you’re craving something bold but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. Try this at your next grill night and turn up the heat!

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp chili flakes

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper to taste

Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 mins if using.

Mix oil, garlic, spices, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

Toss shrimp in the marinade and let sit for 15–20 minutes.

Thread shrimp onto skewers.

Grill on medium-high for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.

Squeeze extra lime before serving if desired.
